A woman of Canaan cried unto Jesus, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou Son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil. Jewish people looked down on people of Canaan; they weren’t worth two cents. Jesus brought His disciples to show how people ought to be treated. Pride and prejudice is as active today, as then. Jesus again shows how a follower of Him would act.
